About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aseptic Processing Engineer to join our team at Refresco. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our beverage production lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute technical projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your expertise in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance and operations teams, troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues.
  • Develop and implement sustainable solutions using continuous improvement methodologies, ensuring optimal equipment performance and product quality.
  • Collaborate with plant vendors to reverse engineer critical parts and components, ensuring quality and precision.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of processing technical projects, managing budgets, timelines, and project deliverables.
  • Coordinate and assist maintenance and processing departments, providing technical support and hands-on troubleshooting.
  • Develop and maintain a continuous improvement culture throughout the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in aseptic processing, dairy equipment, or food processing.
  • Strong knowledge of UHT processing, homogenizers, separators, filtration plants, mixproof valves, motors, and pumps.
  • Ability to update P&ID's, mechanical/electrical prints, and CAD/SolidWorks.
  • Skilled in organizing resources, establishing priorities, and examining/re-engineering operations and procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse constituencies.
  • Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions, supervise and train staff, and analyze/assess training and development needs.
  • Knowledge of computerized information systems, engineering drawings, operating manuals, and blueprints.
  • Able to understand and utilize USDA, State, and Federal regulations for dairy manufacturing facilities.
