Job Summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team in Waco, TX. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing, planning, and controlling the manufacturing process for the production of pulp and paper products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and design plant equipment and processes for the production of pulp and paper.
  • Assist in designing and planning routine layouts and oversee personnel engaged in operating chemical processes on a commercial scale.
  • Conduct studies and coordinate effluent treatment projects and air quality studies.
  • Provide support for process improvement projects, including chemicals, mechanical improvements, and on-machine trials.
  • Drive best practices in safe operations and ensure the safety of all operations, maintenance, and staff personnel.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Pulp and Paper Science.
  • Prior experience in engineering, preferably in the pulp and paper industry.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Proven record of identifying opportunities and implementing improvements.
