Job Summary:

As a Process Engineer Advisor at Graphic Packaging International, you will play a critical role in the analysis, planning, and control of the manufacturing process for the production of pulp and paper products.

You will perform engineering work related to the operation of chemical plant equipment and processes, maintaining and operating chemical production equipment such as condensers, absorption and evaporation towers, columns and stills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Researches the design of plant equipment and processes for the production of pulp and paper.
  • Assists in designs and plans routine layouts and may oversee personnel engaged in operating chemical processes on a commercial scale.
  • Conducts studies and coordinates effluent treatment projects, and air quality studies.
  • Provides support for process improvement projects, involving chemicals, mechanical improvements, support for on-machine trials and investigations of new technologies.
  • Drives best practices in safe operations and ensures the safety of all operations, maintenance and staff personnel.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn quickly and analyze data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with and influence others.
