About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Loan Officer to join our team at AmeriHome Mortgage Company, LLC. As a Loan Officer, you will be responsible for building rapport with clients, analyzing their financial situations, and determining the appropriate loan product to meet their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess borrowers' loan requirements and consult with clients on loan options that best suit their needs.
  • Be the primary point of contact for borrowers throughout the loan application process.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure a seamless and smooth process for clients.
  • Utilize technology to multitask and manage a large pipeline of loan applications.
  • Assist borrowers with purchase transactions by leveraging our nationwide realtor referral network.
  • Maintain pre-established daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Perform other tasks as requested by the SVP Sales and/or Managing Director.
Requirements
  • Proven successful consumer lending sales experience (minimum 2 years, 5 years preferred), working with FHA and conforming products.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Encompass (LOS) and Velocify (CRM).
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills (bi-lingual fluency a plus).
  • Strong sales and closing techniques.
  • Ability to take initiative and responsibility.
  • Strong problem-solving ability with multiple systems and scenarios.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excellent computer skills.
  • Competitive and driven.
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Active listening skills.
  • NMLS SAFE ACT compliant, holding 5 or more active state licenses.
  • Proven track record in the mortgage environment.
  • Experience with NCA and Purchase business.
  • Ability to regularly achieve 50+ outbound dials & 3+ hours of customer engagement (talk time).
  • Desire to improve your craft (professional affiliations, clubs, etc).
