Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement IT strategic plans and initiatives that align with the College's overall mission and goals.
  • Lead and manage the IT Department, including academic and administrative computing, networking, support services, classroom and instructional technology, programming services, and telecommunications.
  • Collaborate with college leadership to identify and address strategic priorities and implement IT-focused initiatives.
  • Ensure the College's IT systems and infrastructure are secure, reliable, and meet the needs of students, faculty, and staff.
  • Develop and manage the IT budget, including procurement and vendor agreements.
  • Oversee the development and enforcement of college IT policies and procedures, including compliance with relevant state and federal guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience in higher education leadership and management related to administrative and academic computing, information systems, hardware, software, and/or IT security.
  • Experience in managing departments and projects, with a proven track record of planning, implementing, and maintaining IT support systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate information security and risk-related concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Strategic leader and builder of both vision and bridges, with the ability to energize the appropriate teams in the organization.
