Position Overview
Hospitality Spotlight is seeking a dedicated Luxury Hotel Banquet Operations Manager for a prestigious hotel in southern California.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate leadership by setting a standard of excellence in all aspects of banquet execution.
  • Oversee the entire banquet process from initiation to completion within a high-end, full-service environment.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule banquet staff to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Director, Catering Manager, and other stakeholders to develop and manage the banquet and catering financial plan.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Hotel Banquet Management within a luxury hotel setting.
  • Possesses strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for making swift decisions based on operational needs.
  • Familiarity with interpreting hotel financial documents; capable of generating and analyzing budgets and labor reports.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality, evidenced by a progressive career in the hotel industry.
  • Knowledge and enthusiasm for wine, spirits, and current cocktail trends.
  • Prior experience in both branded and independent/boutique hotel banquets is preferred.
  • A positive, can-do attitude is essential.
  • Experience in luxury or high-end hotel environments is required.
  • A degree in hospitality or Food & Beverage management is preferred.
  • Proven track record of effective leadership, with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and manage effectively.
  • A collaborative team player with strong analytical and multitasking capabilities.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of business ethics and integrity.
Compensation:
  • Annual salary range of $65,000 - $75,000.
  • Potential for bonuses based on performance.
