Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Therapist to join our team at MAB Community Services. As a Clinical Therapist, you will provide individual, group, and family therapy services to our clients, while also leading clinical team meetings and providing case management and consultation to our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Service Delivery
    • Provide high-quality clinical services to our clients, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions
    • Develop and lead weekly clinical groups focused on safe and healthy relationships
    • Conduct family collaboration and maintain collateral contact with outside agencies and outpatient providers as needed
    • Create SMART IEP goals and participate in IEP meetings
    • Collaborate with the team on behavior plans and engagement
    • Facilitate admissions and discharges in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
    • Complete risk assessments and create safety plans as indicated
  • Leadership & Supervision
    • Supervise 1 to 2 Education Counselors
    • Provide orientation and in-service training on behalf of the clinical team
    • Hold a late-night shift once a week and have a presence at our facilities
    • Provide case consultation and trainings to staff
  • Family Engagement
    • Deliver high-quality family therapy to our clients
    • Collaborate closely with families to develop treatment plans and provide psychoeducation
  • Continuous Learning
    • Participate in individual and group clinical supervision
    • Uphold integrity and be process-oriented within the clinical team and with all departments
    • Engage in continuous education as a clinical social worker and maintain license requirements
    Requirements
    • Master's Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling, LCSW, or LICSW/LMHC
    • Comfortable with public speaking
    • Expertise in working with adolescents, young adults, and families
    • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Certifications in First Aid, CPR, CPI (we can provide these trainings)
    • Experience working in residential or similar settings preferred
