Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our Medical Intermediate Care Unit at Alaska Regional Hospital. This role requires expertise in providing high-quality patient care, clinical judgment, and teaching skills.

Responsibilities
  • Prioritize nursing care for assigned patients based on assessment data and identifies needs for intervention.
  • Demonstrate appropriate decision making, critical thinking, and clinical judgment to make nursing decisions and identify health care needs.
  • Evaluate and document each patient's response to medications, interventions, and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of IMCU experience and be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). They should also possess strong communication and teamwork skills.
