We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Alaska Regional Hospital. As a Critical Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety in our Medical Intermediate Care Unit.

Job SummaryThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) will assist the Nursing Unit Director in planning, implementing, and assessing the daily functions of Nursing Care and Services provided in the unit on all shifts. This role requires strong critical thinking skills, leadership abilities, and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- You will provide supervisory and management oversight for staff members and departmental resources and processes.
- Facilitate interventions to meet patients' physical, psychological, spiritual, social, cultural, and educational needs; coordinates functions with physicians and other departments of the hospital.
- Serve as a role model, mentor, educator, and evaluator in the Critical Care area.
- Current Alaska nursing license in good standing
- Associate's Degree in nursing required, bachelor's preferred
- CCRN certification required
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified (ACLS) within 90 days of hire
