Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and vendors with a friendly and professional demeanor, creating a positive first impression of our office.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide accurate information about our services, scheduling, and procedures, ensuring seamless communication with our patients.
  • Schedule appointments efficiently, taking into consideration patient preferences and availability, ensuring timely and effective management of patient flow.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed promptly and correctly.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient office operations, providing exceptional support to our clinical team.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, email, and faxes, maintaining confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documents, ensuring their understanding and compliance, promoting patient engagement and education.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, waiting room, and other common areas, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our patients.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, procedures, and best practices to provide accurate and helpful information to patients, enhancing our reputation as a leading facial plastic surgery practice.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities, such as workshops or conferences, to enhance skills and knowledge, contributing to our office's continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a positive and enjoyable working environment, promoting teamwork and camaraderie among our team members.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration or customer service is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a front desk receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably in a medical, aesthetic practice or food and beverage.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to create a warm and welcoming environment for patients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and friendly phone manner.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems or computer software applications, staying up-to-date with the latest technology.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion, maintaining patient confidentiality and trust.
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and a strong sense of professionalism, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
  • Familiarity with plastic surgery procedures, medical terminology, and insurance processes is a plus.

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for continued professional growth and development.
