Front Desk Operations Manager

This role is a key member of the Aloft by Marriott team, reporting directly to the AGM and GM. The Front Desk Supervisor will work closely with front desk associates to ensure efficient guest registration, checkout, and telephone service, meeting brand standards and SREE hotel guidelines. Additionally, they will provide exceptional customer service, resolve issues efficiently, and assist in training and motivating front desk staff.
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience working as a front desk associate, preferably with previous supervisory experience. They should possess strong organization skills, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. As this role requires flexibility, including working weekends and varying shifts, the ability to adapt to changing circumstances is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with front desk associates to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Provide value-added services to customers by exceeding their expectations.
- Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction scores, addressing any performance deficiencies immediately.
- Create and publish required reports in a timely manner, ensuring quality for senior management and corporate officers.
- Supervise the training of front desk employees and motivate them to perform effectively.
- Ensure accurate cash transactions at the front desk and maintain personal bank responsibility.
- Implement safety procedures, following guest check-in and security protocols, and report suspicious activity to the AGM and GM.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently, maintaining high customer satisfaction and quality service.
