Position Overview:

CGS is currently inviting applications for a Technical Support / Service Desk Analyst role, which may lead to a permanent position. This role will deliver daily technological support to end-users across the organization. Under the guidance of the IT Director, this position will offer technical assistance regarding all computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices to ensure that end-users can operate effectively with minimal interruptions or downtime due to technical issues.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience with Active Directory is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in operating systems (Windows 2007/2008/2010).
  • Familiarity with data communication tools and software.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • The primary duty of the Technical Support Specialist is to deliver technical assistance and training related to software and hardware to internal users, primarily through incoming phone inquiries.
  • Create, maintain, and manage user accounts within Cloud Azure Active Directory.
  • Provide training and troubleshooting for user access to proprietary web resources.
  • Resolve user issues and requests through a ticketing system and communication channels.
  • Manage user access and permissions on proprietary platforms.
  • Utilize service management tools for effective tracking of service requests.
  • Engage with users via ticketing systems, email, and phone communications.
  • Support mobile devices, including Apple and Android products.
  • Configure and maintain hardware such as PCs, laptops, and printers.
  • Ensure network security and oversee user account administration.
