We are currently in search of a skilled Technical Support Specialist (2nd Shift) 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM to enhance our team. Reporting directly to the Help Desk Manager, this role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the success of a rapidly growing, multidisciplinary team.
  • Act as the initial point of contact for clients seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or chat.
  • Facilitate new workstation setups.
  • Assist in resolving ticket requests related to desktops, laptops, MDM devices, and email systems.
  • Create, update, and refine training manuals for new and revised software and hardware.
  • Provide technical support for inquiries and issues.
  • Troubleshoot problems with networks and various computer systems.
  • Diagnose system errors and other technical issues.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure complete resolution of concerns.
  • Generate reports to analyze recurring complaints and issues.
  • Install or modify software to resolve problems.
  • Remotely access hardware or software for clients to implement changes and resolve issues.
  • Identify and recommend potential improvements in procedures.
  • Collaborate with other teams as necessary.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks.
Qualifications and Skills
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated experience as an IT Help Desk Analyst.
  • Proficient knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server (2012/2016) / Desktop Operating Systems, and Group Policy.
  • Experience managing Microsoft Office 365.
  • Understanding of fundamental networking concepts such as DHCP, DNS, and VLAN.
  • Microsoft Systems or network certifications are advantageous.
  • Experience with MDM (Mobile Device Management) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with MDT (Microsoft Deployment Toolkit).
  • Experience in hardware inventory management.
  • Knowledge of MS Teams, AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Experience with video collaboration tools like Zoom and MS Teams in GCCH.
  • Aptitude for diagnosing, researching, and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Familiarity with both PC and Mac hardware and software.
  • Strong customer service abilities.
  • Focus on information security best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize workload, and utilize effective time management practices to complete assigned tasks.
Additional Differentiators
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
  • Experience with Linux/Ubuntu administration is a plus.
  • Ability to articulate complex technical topics clearly and compellingly.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and develop expertise in unfamiliar areas.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Passion for space technology.

Salary Range $23.00-$35.00 per hour

Your actual level and base salary will be determined case-by-case and may vary based on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Physical Demands

This role requires meeting physical demands to perform essential functions successfully. The employee is frequently required to sit or stand for extended periods, move about on hands and knees, crouch, and bend. The position may require lifting or moving objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional office environment within a manufacturing company. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and scanners are routinely used.
