Customer Support Specialist

Diagnostic Labs is seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Specialist to serve as the face of our organization on all professional inquiries. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide constructive criticism to peers.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Diagnostic Labs' products and services to effectively communicate with customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Identify and respond to customer needs and concerns, communicating potential new service opportunities to leadership.
- Set up and maintain client accounts in appropriate systems.
- Communicate issues and opportunities to leadership and lead follow-up with customers as necessary.
- Perform review of customer-facing documents for accuracy and work with project teams to ensure high-quality, accurate documents are published to customers.
- Write, edit, and review new and existing procedures, policies, job aids, and SOPs for the department.
- Take initiative to serve as point person on departmental assignments and projects.
- Provide recommendations for potential process improvements and seek input from team members.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and confidentiality of patient information.
- Support Versiti's mission, vision, and values, as well as department goals and objectives.
- Work effectively in a team environment.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a science-related field.
- Equivalent combination of education and 3-5 years of related experience may be substituted for the degree with approval from Client Services Management and Human Resources.
- One year of customer service experience preferred.
- One year of experience in a laboratory setting or other healthcare-related environment preferred.
