As a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and upkeep of applications and computing solutions that are entirely web-based. This position merges cloud technology with software engineering, ensuring the smooth and inclusive operation of cloud services.

Your Contributions:
  • Oversee and enhance the operational aspects of cloud services, including configuration, metrics, statistics, and the automation of operational workflows.
  • Work closely with software development and product management teams to ensure cloud services align with various business goals.
  • Manage security, availability, and reliability standards for cloud services, documenting and maintaining procedures comprehensively.
  • Promote a culture of diversity and inclusion through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Automate the deployment and configuration of cloud infrastructure while upholding high security and compliance standards.
  • Establish and maintain protocols to foster a safe, accessible, and equitable cloud environment.
Your Qualifications:
  • Experience in managing and operating cloud services, ideally within an AWS framework.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud technologies and related fields, including databases, web technologies, networks, security, and process automation.
  • Proficient in coding and familiar with "Infrastructure as Code" methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of Linux (e.g., RedHat) and Unix shell scripting.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with a focus on inclusive communication practices.
  • Adept at prioritizing tasks and independently troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Knowledge of networking principles such as subnets, NAT, and DNS.
  • Overall experience with AWS environments.
  • Expertise in managing the security of cloud services.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards.
