Product Marketing Specialist Role

Legrand North America is seeking a Product Marketing Specialist to join our Data, Power and Control Team in New London, CT.



This critical role will be responsible for developing, executing, tracking, and measuring the effectiveness of product launches and marketing programs. The Product Marketing Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver collateral, context, and support materials to drive successful product launches.



Main Responsibilities:

  • Communicate product and technical information clearly and concisely through various mediums to the intended audience.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Creative Services, Campaign Marketing, Channel Marketing, and Sales teams to deliver high-quality support materials.
  • Research and provide thought leadership to create technical marketing collateral that drives consumers to our brand and product.
  • Update and maintain product information on the web, including adding new collateral, copy, and images.
  • Create high-impact tools to aid internal and external sales teams.
  • Facilitate effective communication between internal teams to ensure alignment on product and marketing strategies.
  • Represent the organization in customer-facing calls and events as needed.
  • Undertake additional assignments or projects as directed by management.


Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with an emphasis in Marketing, Business, or a related field.



Experience: 2-4 years in product marketing, application/lifestyle marketing, or a related field; experience in data or telecommunications marketing is a plus.



Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Computer proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to provide information across multiple groups in the company.
  • Strong organizational, research, and planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a dynamic team environment.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Concerned with quality deliverables.


Salary Range: $75k - $85k.
