Job Summary:

As an Assistant Manager at Central Pacific Bank, you will play a key role in leading a team of highly skilled professionals to consistently meet and exceed the specific financial needs of a designated community. Your primary responsibility will be to achieve sales, service, and profitability goals while ensuring regulatory and legal compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and inspire a team of professionals to meet and exceed financial goals
• Manage a portfolio of High Value Clients (HVC) to build and retain customer relationships
• Identify potential customer banking needs and open and service all types of consumer and business deposit products
• Accept and close secured and unsecured consumer loan and business loan and line applications
• Analyze tax returns and financial statements
• Participate in customer retention programs and branch or bank-wide campaigns
• Achieve individual and branch goals as assigned, including deposit, loan, and portfolio growth goals, revenue, and risk management targets

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or relevant work experience
• 3+ years of branch/bank operations experience and sales of retail financial products
• 3+ years of experience supervising/leading a sales team
• 2+ years of experience explaining credit products, accepting, and closing loan applications
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including before and after normal work hours, weekends, and holidays
• Registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) is required prior to performing any duties of a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO), if applicable

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to perform light physical work and move or lift items up to 20 pounds
• Must be able to operate and proficiently use standard office equipment, including phone, copier, personal computer, and other work-related mechanical or electronic devices and applications
• Must be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing with all internal and external customers
• Must be able to work in a conventional office setting, involving sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods of time
