Job Summary

Parkland Health and Hospital System is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider I-ACLS to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, education, and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, education, and referrals.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuous quality care and promote positive health outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments, advancements, and trends in the practice field through ongoing education and professional development.
  • Develop and implement effective internal controls to promote adherence to applicable state/federal laws and regulations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to colleagues, including mentoring and coaching.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant in the state of Texas.
  • Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
