Key Responsibilities
As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will be accountable for delivering healthcare services to patients within designated primary or specialty areas. This includes:
- Conducting patient assessments, formulating diagnoses, and developing treatment plans.
- Providing education and referrals to enhance patient understanding and engagement.
- Acting as a mentor and resource for clinical practice, training, and evaluation of practitioners and students.
- Supporting leadership in the planning and execution of advanced practice provider initiatives.
Qualifications
Education:
- Physician Assistant: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution and completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN): Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in relevant duties.
- 5 years of clinical experience in any field as an Advanced Practice Provider is also acceptable.
Licensure/Certification:
- Current CPR certification from recognized organizations.
- Valid licensure as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Texas.
Skills and Abilities
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of healthcare policies and procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
