Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Proposal Specialist to join our dynamic team within the Energy sector. This pivotal role is essential for supporting our bidding and contract negotiation efforts. You will collaborate with diverse teams, including technical, financial, product management, and risk assessment units, to oversee all facets of the bidding process. Your attention to detail, exceptional negotiation abilities, and advanced Excel skills will be crucial in this fast-paced and rewarding environment. A background in analyzers and integration is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Analyze and evaluate bids for various energy projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and objectives.
2. Facilitate contract negotiations, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to secure favorable terms.
3. Prepare and deliver detailed pricing proposals, leveraging industry knowledge and market insights to create competitive offers.
4. Apply your expertise in systems integration and process analyzers to develop effective project proposals.
5. Create and maintain Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (PNID), enhancing the overall quality and precision of project submissions.
6. Utilize advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP, to analyze data and produce insightful reports.
7. Respond promptly and professionally to RFQs, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all submissions.
8. Oversee all aspects of the bidding process, coordinating with technical, financial, product management, and risk review teams to ensure alignment and consistency.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred).
2. At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Energy sector.
3. Proven track record in bid evaluation and contract negotiation.
4. Proficient in preparing bids and pricing proposals.
5. Strong understanding of systems integration and process analyzers.
6. Experience in developing and maintaining Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (PNID).
7. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
8. Demonstrated ability to respond to RFQs in a timely and professional manner.
9. Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to oversee all aspects of a bid.
10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
11. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
12. Strong analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
