Classification: Part-Time/Non-Exempt (Seasonal)

Summary/Objective

H Star is in search of dedicated part-time Ticket Sellers for the upcoming season. This role involves collaborating with the Box Office Manager to manage ticket sales and deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process sales, refunds, upgrades, and exchanges for various ticket types for H Star events.
  • Ensure accurate collection, accountability, and deposit of all received funds.
  • Prepare and submit balanced daily sales reports.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting patrons.
  • Act as a liaison between the public and sales staff for inquiries and ticketing matters.
  • Manage Will Call ticket distribution, including group and individual sales.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Management or a related field is preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
Work Environment

This position is primarily indoor, within a climate-controlled setting. The role operates in a box office environment, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers and phones. Employees may also work in a high-traffic outdoor venue during events, where noise levels can vary.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this position include the ability to maintain focus on tasks, work in an office for extended periods, and perform physical activities such as walking, bending, and lifting as necessary.

Work Schedule

Flexibility in scheduling is essential, including the potential for extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Travel

This role does not require travel.
