Territory Sales Consultant

Position Overview:
As a Territory Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our understanding of audience behaviors. Your efforts will contribute significantly to our Panel Recruitment and Field Operations teams, which are essential in establishing meaningful connections with existing panelists and attracting new participants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct face-to-face interviews in the residences of panelists.
- Efficiently navigate various building types, including secured facilities and gated communities, while managing different entry points into potential participants' homes.
- Utilize a company-provided vehicle to travel to designated residences within your assigned territory.
- Engage with statistically-selected households through door-to-door outreach, with or without prior appointments.
- Effectively persuade selected households, both via phone and in-person, to take part in Nielsen's research initiatives across television, radio, and digital platforms.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in reading and writing in English.
- Willingness to travel overnight up to 25% of the time.
- Enjoy interacting with diverse individuals and communities.
- Ability to convincingly communicate the significance of participating in Nielsen Ratings.
- Relevant experience in customer service, market research, education, or similar fields is preferred.
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience of 2+ years.
- Proficient in using tablets and smartphones, including email and spreadsheet applications.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Consistently achieve individual performance targets.
Physical Demands:
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions, engaging with households year-round.
- Ability to navigate stairs, elevators, and various pathways to access residences.
- Comfortable interacting with individuals in their homes, regardless of the environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Overnight travel up to 25% of the time.
- Driving for extended periods, up to 8 hours daily.
- Standing for prolonged periods, up to 6 hours each day.
- Kneeling for up to 2 hours daily.
- Ability to climb stairs and walk distances of up to half a mile.
- Adaptability to work in various seasonal conditions.
