Madison Reed Hair Color Bar is seeking a skilled and experienced Colorist to join our team. As a Colorist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair color services to our clients, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the success of our salon.
Key Responsibilities- Consultations and Services: Provide personalized consultations to clients, recommending the best hair color services and products to meet their needs. Deliver high-quality hair color services, including shampooing, conditioning, styling, and chemical services.
- Guest Experience: Ensure that every client has a positive and memorable experience at our salon. Be attentive to their needs, provide excellent communication, and stay flexible to meet their expectations.
- Sales and Revenue Growth: Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals and revenue growth by upselling and cross-selling services and products. Drive revenue through additional services, sales of memberships, subscriptions, and home hair care products.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other salon professionals to achieve common goals and objectives. Support the training and development of junior team members, demonstrating expertise and sharing knowledge.
- Salon Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked salon environment, adhering to company standards and protocols.
- Cosmetology License: Possess an active cosmetology license in the state where you are applying.
- Experience: Have at least 1 year of experience as a colorist behind the chair in a salon environment.
- Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate effective communication, strong problem-solving, and people skills in a fast-paced retail or salon environment.
- Technical Skills: Be comfortable operating point-of-sale systems and other salon technology.
