Job Summary

The Residential Sales and Service Consultant is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences at every interaction for both new and existing customers. This role requires a passion for customer satisfaction and a deep understanding of residential customer needs in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Service Delivery: Sell Ziply Fiber products and services, retain current customers, and negotiate service order requests from customers for installation, change, or removal of services.
  • Customer Interaction: Interact with customers patiently, empathetically, and efficiently by presenting services for sales and service opportunities and completing activities in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Billing and Collections: Accurately compute and quote customer monthly charges, non-recurring charges, adjustments, and balances. Provide flexible options to customers based on product and service needs.
  • Repair Resolution: Troubleshoot customer issues through satisfactory resolution and perform a full range of repair resolution duties, including interfacing with customers and performing work associated with pending orders, problem resolution, repair requirements, and repair resolution.
  • Customer Service: Provide a best-in-class customer service experience and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Experience: Prior experience in customer service, sales, or collections preferred, but not required.
  • Skills: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, understanding of database programs, and intermediate computer competency.
