The ideal candidate will also assist end-users in configuring document libraries, lists, and basic workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and the IT Division to design, build, configure, and maintain SharePoint sites and collections.
  • Enhance governance documentation by establishing best practices, documenting procedures, and crafting educational resources.
  • Engage with clients on SharePoint projects, which may involve requirements gathering, use case development, solution design, and project oversight.
  • Provide assistance to clients with SharePoint sites, addressing inquiries, training business administrators, and recommending process improvements.
  • Conduct general troubleshooting for SharePoint user issues and work alongside SharePoint engineers to resolve platform-related problems.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Experience:
  • Experience as a site collection administrator, including managing content structure, metadata, and security permissions.
  • Proficiency in search configuration, result sources, and query rules.
  • Familiarity with standard site components and their configuration, including document library settings and audience targeting.
  • Knowledge of master pages, page layouts, and custom design packages is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Understanding of document management principles, including content types and retention policies.
  • Experience in reviewing SharePoint logs and creating workflows using SharePoint Designer.
  • Strong analytical skills with a solid grasp of relational database concepts.
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and familiarity with Systems Development Life Cycle.
  • Experience with ASP.NET and Web Services is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with business personnel and external vendors.
  • Capability to train users and work independently while also being a team player.

This position is expected to be a one-year contract with potential for extension. Candidates should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in Microsoft SharePoint administration, focusing on front-end administration and user interaction.
