Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Field IT Specialist to join our team. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about technology and possess a strong background in IT support and infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure, deploy, and maintain PC hardware and software systems, including Windows operating systems and applications.
- Support and troubleshoot server hardware and operating systems, ensuring optimal performance.
- Install and manage networking equipment, including switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Implement and support server virtualization technologies such as Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware.
- Mentor and guide junior staff members in best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
- Administer email systems, including Office 365 and Exchange, ensuring effective communication.
- Manage backup systems and data recovery processes to safeguard critical information.
- Maintain documentation related to client environments and resolutions to issues.
- Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for all clients.

Qualifications

- A minimum of three to five years of hands-on experience in IT support.
- Proven experience collaborating with third-party vendors.
- A degree or diploma in computer science or a related field is preferred.
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
- Ability to travel to client locations as needed.
- Physical capability to lift and transport moderately heavy equipment and work in various environments.
