Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead and manage a team of auto glass repair technicians and support staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality repairs.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Business Operations
    • Manage and maintain accurate records of inventory, returns, and dealer inventory.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to generate, close, and follow up on sales leads.
    • Manage all account receivables, including check, credit card processing, and other forms of payment.
  • Financial Management
    • Review and analyze financial statements to ensure market profitability and identify areas for improvement.
    • Manage employee regular and overtime pay to ensure labor margins remain at goal.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure customer satisfaction by coaching staff and resolving customer concerns.
    • Manage daily scheduler to ensure all customer jobs are completed timely.
  • Recruitment and Training
    • Recruit, interview, and hire new staff as required.
    • Train new hires on company policies, procedures, and SOPs.
  • Compliance and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with all company policies and standard operating procedures.
    • Enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and related safety equipment.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Minimum of five years of auto glass experience or auto body management experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Proven leadership and track record of employee development.
    • Ability to read and understand financial statements.
    • AGSC Master Certification and DOW certification preferred.
    • Ability to travel up to 25%.
    • Valid driver's license and eligibility for insurance coverage.
  • Education and Certifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Working Conditions

The Auto Glass General Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent standing, walking, and use of hands and fingers. The ability to lift/push weights up to 100 pounds is required. Must be able to pass a background, drug, and motor vehicle screening.
