Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in Laurel, MD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing hands-on systems integration and administration in support of our lab environment, including cyber range activities for operator training and customer environment simulation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise in systems integration and administration, including enterprise Linux and Windows administration, cybersecurity, and hypervisor/virtualization technologies.
  • Work closely with mission operators and developers to design and implement innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Perform systems engineering tasks, including technical problem-solving, requirements specification, process development, risk analysis, and solutions design.
  • Assist in identifying requirements and designing future iterations of our primary analytic systems.
  • Identify new and existing products, technologies, and architectures to solve design, development, and operational problems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree plus 9 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Associate's degree plus 11 years of relevant experience, or high school diploma/GED plus 13 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience.
  • Systems integration, enterprise Linux and Windows administration, cybersecurity, hypervisor/virtualization technologies, cloud technologies, systems engineering/architecture, system security configuration/patching knowledge, enterprise active directory, virtualization orchestration technology, Nutanix – HW/SW, Splunk architecture and administration, Rancher/Kubernetes/Docker, SAMBA, Puppet, Bash scripting, experience with GitLab, Jira, and Confluence, Airflow, Jenkins, Redis, Apache NiFi, and firewall administration.

Clearance Requirement

This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.
