Job Title: Senior Radar Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Radar Systems Engineer to join our team at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing advanced radar systems for various applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop radar systems using advanced signal processing techniques and algorithms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate radar systems with other sensors and systems.
  • Conduct performance analysis and testing of radar systems to ensure they meet requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in radar systems engineering.
  • Strong understanding of radar systems, signal processing, and electromagnetics.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Experience with advanced radar systems and signal processing techniques.
  • Leadership experience in a technical team.
