Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, developing, and improving manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods. They will propose, organize, and implement work to complete projects and achieve group and individual objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Detect problems and situations that require deviation from normal procedures and implement corrective actions.
  • Interpret and/or analyze data, and draw conclusions based on the data.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures, daily instructions, and other written communications.
  • Process Hazards Analyzes (PHA).
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in chemical manufacturing or petrol/refinement.
  • Batch/Semi continuous operation with distillation experience is a plus.
  • Resins / Coating experience a plus.
  • Environmental reporting experience is a plus.
  • Would like some controls knowledge.
  • Process improvement experience.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • OR 10 years' experience in a chemical plant environment.
