CNC Machinist

Terra Sonic International is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a key member of our production staff, you will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce high-quality machined components.

• Operate CNC machines to produce machined components
• Read and interpret blueprints, process sheets, and sketches to determine required machining specifications
• Understand the functions of each CNC machine and match machine capability with product requirements
• Ability to operate secondary equipment, such as drill presses and vertical mills
• Develop and edit CNC programs to match product requirements
• Assist in the development of employees to further their ability to become more proficient in their respective jobs

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 months related experience and/or training
• Forklift operator certificate required
• Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and effectively speak before groups
• Mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure

Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, explosives, risk of radiation, and vibration.

Frequently exposed to a loud noise level in the immediate work environment.
