Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality procedures and standards.
  • Develop and maintain work instructions, forms, and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform process capability studies to monitor performance and prevent process drift.
  • Track non-conformance costs and recommend continuous improvement projects.
  • Collect and analyze dimensional and attribute data associated with purchased components.
  • Collaborate with Design Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, and suppliers to establish practical measurement techniques.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in an applied science or engineering field.
  • 3-years prior experience as Quality Engineer or Quality Technician in a Manufacturing facility.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis methods and process control (SPC).
  • Experience with Lean/Six Sigma continuous improvement teams.
  • Proficient with measurement devices and calibration schedules.
