Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Instructor to join our team at the State of South Carolina. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Building Construction Fundamentals and Plumbing courses, developing curriculum, and assessing student performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement lesson plans, programs, and syllabi for Building Construction Fundamentals and Plumbing courses.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide feedback to ensure academic success.
  • Maintain a safe and organized learning environment, including lab equipment and facilities.
  • Participate in college activities, serve on departmental and college committees, and contribute to the development of the Building Construction Fundamentals and Plumbing program.
  • Meet the minimum and additional requirements for the position, including an Associate Degree and two years of teaching experience with industry-level or industry training experience, as well as a South Carolina Residential Builder License.
