Job Summary:

Trillium Staffing is seeking a skilled CAD Designer to join our team in Denmark, WI. As a CAD Designer, you will be responsible for creating precise and detailed construction drawings, plans, and models using CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop 2D and 3D drawings that accurately reflect project requirements, specifications, and design intent.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales and Estimating team to understand project scope and requirements.
  • Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and material lists based on the construction drawings.
  • Review and revise drawings based on internal and external feedback and markups.
  • Ensure that all drawings are up to date with the latest changes and revisions.
  • Coordinate with the Estimator to incorporate changes into the cost estimation process.
  • Work with other internal teams to obtain necessary information for drawing creation and revision.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to resolve questions and design related issues.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather relevant design information and integrate it into the drawings.
  • Conduct thorough checks and reviews of construction drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and resolve any design conflicts or discrepancies.
  • Participate in pre bid meetings, site visits, and other project related discussions as required.


Requirements:

  • Autocad and revit experience a must
  • Background in concrete is a plus
  • Must be willing to work outside JD and help out where it is needed
  • Must be willing to be onsite, not available for remote work.
