Psychologist for Intimate Partner Violence Program

Position Overview: The Department of Veterans Affairs Southeast Louisiana Healthcare System (SLVHCS) is actively seeking a dedicated full-time Staff Psychologist to serve as the Intimate Partner Violence Coordinator within the Community Based Outpatient Clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized psychological services tailored for patients dealing with Intimate Partner Violence (IPV).
- Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations, develop treatment plans, perform diagnostic assessments, and provide psychotherapy.
- Engage in patient education and offer collateral consultation with significant others or support systems, ensuring client consent.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Flexibility in tour of duty may be negotiated post-selection.
Telework: Available.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range: $75,928 - $140,682.
- Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) available to assist with outstanding medical school loans, up to $200K over a maximum of 5 years.
- Liability protection for malpractice.

Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required (non-citizen candidates may be considered).
- Possession of a full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State.
- Doctoral degree in psychology from an APA-accredited program.
- Completion of a professional psychology internship accredited by APA or CPA.
- Preferred: Experience in measurement-based care to enhance treatment outcomes.
- Preferred: Proven ability to deliver evidence-based care across various diagnoses in a general mental health context.
- Must demonstrate high motivation, teamwork, and a commitment to the well-being of Veterans.
