Lead Infrastructure Engineer

About You

As a member of our DevOps Team, you will join a skilled group that values innovation and invests in cutting-edge technologies and the growth of our engineers. The products we manage are essential for enhancing the adoption of SpyCloud's services among our clientele. We prioritize continuous delivery in an incremental manner, focusing on robust, long-term design, high-quality development, and responsiveness to early customer feedback. Your Responsibilities

  • Architect, enhance, and sustain secure, resilient, and efficient infrastructure to support APIs, web applications, and data processing workflows in alignment with established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaborate with developers to deploy new products and services into the production environment.
  • Automate testing, deployment, and monitoring processes for all products and services throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Refine operational workflows and implement best practices to ensure scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Proactively adhere to information security and compliance standards, including SOC 2/ISO27001.

Required Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a DevOps capacity managing production infrastructure, ideally in a highly available environment for a SaaS or cloud service provider.
  • Proficient understanding of AWS services such as EC2, ECS or EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, Cloudwatch, S3, Code/Build/Pipeline/Deploy, etc.
  • Strong expertise in Terraform or comparable tools, Ansible, AWS CLI/SDK, Boto.
  • Experience in release automation, system administration, configuration management, and system troubleshooting.
  • Skilled in a scripting language such as Python, Bash, etc., and comfortable working in Linux environments.
  • Solid grasp of system and networking principles, along with troubleshooting techniques for both bare metal and containerized workloads.
  • Familiarity with .NET applications deployed in Microsoft Windows environments is advantageous.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory is a plus.
