Your Role and ImpactAs a Principal Engineer at CS DISCO, you will be instrumental in guiding and advancing our AWS-based cloud infrastructure. Your specialized knowledge will enhance reliability, scalability, and security, ultimately bolstering the effectiveness of our cloud-based offerings. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and fellow engineers to define our future cloud strategy and uphold technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate strategies for scalable infrastructure and system control plane.
  • Identify and implement solutions to achieve performance and scalability objectives.
  • Lead initiatives in software and systems development.
  • Provide guidance on technology selection and decisions regarding build versus buy.
  • Mentor and cultivate engineering talent.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of pertinent experience in systems architecture.
  • Expertise in infrastructure automation tools and container-based deployment.
  • Experience with cloud service providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of Continuous Integration and Deployment practices.
  • Ability to work with diverse software stacks and datastores at scale.
Additional Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in computer science or a related discipline.
  • Experience leading multi-system design projects.
  • Comprehensive understanding of third-party component integration.
  • Passion for system requirements and operational efficiency.
