Role Overview: We are in search of a driven and detail-oriented Technical Lead / Project Manager to oversee our federal client projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing complex knowledge management systems and will be responsible for the overall development and operational management of these systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring effective planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee project management activities in line with established Project Management Plans (PMP), including staffing and documentation.
  • Coordinate development and maintenance activities for cloud-based platforms, ensuring compliance with security standards.
  • Manage a 24/7 support team to monitor and address any service outages.
  • Ensure timely project completion while maintaining high-quality standards, facilitating communication across all project stakeholders.
  • Establish and implement standards and procedures to assess product quality and readiness for release.
  • Administer policies and procedures manuals for clients.
  • Guide the licensing and operational authority for client websites.
  • Oversee website operations, including content management and design.
  • Enhance and maintain Learning Management Systems (LMS) to support diverse training delivery methods.
  • Investigate issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and IT teams to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Over 10 years of experience in technical project management, particularly with cloud-based solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
  • Proven leadership in developing public-facing knowledge management platforms.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is advantageous.
  • Experience with web hosting platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Proficient in analyzing business needs and providing technical recommendations.
