Facilities Support Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part Time Custodian to join our team at New London Public Schools. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our buildings and grounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and monitor designated spaces and equipment, including sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and waxing
- Assist in the upkeep of seasonal grounds work, such as snow and ice removal, leaves and other debris
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the overall cleanliness and safety of our facilities
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve our facilities management goals
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in custodial or facilities maintenance preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
