LEARN RESC is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Support Specialist to enhance the educational experience of students with special needs.
This role involves collaborating with a vibrant educational team to foster the academic and behavioral growth of students requiring special education services. The specialist will engage in instructional assistance, student observation, and data tracking to ensure effective support.
Training in Safety Care techniques will be provided.Qualifications:
Level 1:
Behavioral Support Specialist:
Minimum Education Requirement:
High School Diploma along with Parapro certification. Prior experience with children facing autism or emotional/behavioral challenges is preferred. Familiarity with ABA methodologies is advantageous.
Level 2:
An Associate's Degree or completion of two years of college (60 credits or more) or current Registered Behavior Technician and Parapro certifications are required.
Experience working with children with autism or emotional/behavioral challenges and their families is preferred. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply online (under Student Support Services) EOE.
