Patient Access Coordinator

This role serves as the primary point of contact for patients, physician offices, and various departments for scheduling, pre-registration, collection, and registration.
The Patient Access Representative II is responsible for gathering accurate demographic and insurance information for patients' financial records.
Key responsibilities include participating in quality control measures to ensure efficiency and accuracy, as well as flexibility in working hours during weekdays.
Requirements- High School Diploma or GED equivalency
- Two years of registration experience and/or medical billing experience
- Knowledge of insurance contracts, PPOs, HMOs, workman's comp, Medicare, review boards, and medical group notification process and insurance verification
This is a regular, full-time position with a shift of days.
