Patient Access Representative

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team at Huntington Hospital Inc. This role is responsible for providing exceptional patient experience by working with physician offices, ancillary departments, Case Management, and Business Office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Float to all areas within Patient Access to ensure seamless patient experience
- Provide outstanding customer service skills, exceptional verbal and written communication, conflict management, and service recovery
- Work with minimal supervision, projecting a positive and upbeat attitude
- Greet patients with a courteous and professional demeanor to obtain feedback on their hospital experience
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college experience preferred
- Minimum three years of experience in healthcare financial counseling; five years preferred
- Strong organization and customer service skills
- Typing 35 wpm required; excellent analytical skills and proficient with Microsoft applications (Outlook and Excel)
