Role Overview:
This position is pivotal in collaborating with physician offices, ancillary departments, Case Management, and the Business Office to ensure a superior patient experience.
The role emphasizes exceptional customer service skills, outstanding verbal and written communication, conflict resolution, and a positive service-oriented attitude.
The individual will operate with minimal oversight, consistently displaying a friendly and professional demeanor while gathering feedback on patient experiences. This role requires flexibility to assist in various areas within Patient Access.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Some college coursework is preferred.
EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
A minimum of three years of experience is required, with five years preferred, particularly in healthcare financial counseling. Strong organizational and customer service skills are essential.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Typing speed of 35 wpm is mandatory.
Excellent analytical abilities and proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook and Excel) are necessary.
Competency assessments must be passed regularly.
