Role Overview: The Capital Procurement Manager will be instrumental in strategizing, coordinating, and executing procurement activities related to capital projects and national agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Formulating and executing procurement strategies to meet the company's supply requirements efficiently and cost-effectively.
  2. Maintaining relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, timely delivery, and adherence to contract terms.
  3. Negotiating supplier contracts to secure optimal terms and conditions.
  4. Conducting regular audits of suppliers to ensure compliance with established standards.
  5. Implementing cost management strategies to enhance procurement efficiency.
  6. Identifying procurement risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  7. Collaborating with project managers and team members to fulfill procurement needs for various projects.
  8. Staying informed about market trends, potential supply disruptions, and their implications for operations.
  9. Leading a team of procurement professionals, overseeing their performance and development.
  10. Ensuring compliance with all procurement regulations and protocols.

Qualifications:

  1. At least 12 years of experience in capital sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  2. Experience in capital-intensive sectors such as cement, building materials, manufacturing, or energy.
  3. Exceptional negotiation skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
  4. Proven experience in sourcing and executing large-scale capital projects.
  5. Strong leadership capabilities to manage and inspire a team.
  6. Familiarity with SAP (S4/HANA) and Tableau / DOMO analytics is advantageous.
  7. Proficient in procurement software and related applications.
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  9. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
  10. Professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) are a plus.
