As a Customer Service Representative for Dorman Products at our Powertrain Industries location, you will play a crucial role in managing customer orders and addressing technical inquiries.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure commitments made to customers are fulfilled consistently or communicate any changes promptly.
  • Proactively monitor customer orders to guarantee timely delivery.
  • Coordinate the logistics for product shipments.
  • Provide telephone support, offering feedback to customers as needed.
  • Assist with technical support calls, including follow-ups for quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with material and production teams to inform customers about potential delays.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of products, various systems, and customer platforms.
  • Maintain precise work instructions as customer needs or processes evolve.

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • General experience with automotive parts is preferred.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude.
  • Capable of managing complaints in challenging situations.
  • Adept at multitasking with a keen attention to detail.
  • Experience in customer service within the automotive or manufacturing sectors is desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with Google Docs.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing context is preferred.
