Fluid Systems Engineer II, Heat Exchangers Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Fluid Systems Engineer II to join our team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our Lunar Transportation business unit, you will play a critical role in the development of our Blue Moon lander product lines.
Your primary responsibility will be to design, analyze, and develop heat exchangers for our lunar lander's fluid system. This will involve performing trade studies, deriving requirements, managing procurement, testing, and integration of heat exchangers.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop heat exchangers for the lunar lander's fluid system
- Perform trade studies and derive requirements for heat exchanger design
- Manage procurement and testing of heat exchangers
- Integrate heat exchangers into the lunar lander's fluid system
- B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or related technical subject area
- 3+ years of experience in fluid system design, analysis, component specification, and procurement
- Strong grasp of fluids and heat transfer fundamentals
- Experience performing sizing and heat transfer calculations for heat exchangers
- Familiarity with fluid system solvers such as Sinda Fluint or Thermal Desktop
- Experience in 3D CAD programs (Creo preferred) and Finite Element Analysis
