Fluid Systems Engineer II, Heat Exchangers Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Fluid Systems Engineer II to join our team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our Lunar Transportation business unit, you will play a critical role in the development of our Blue Moon lander product lines.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and integrate heat exchangers into the Lunar Lander's fluid system
- Perform trade studies, derive requirements, and manage procurement of fluid system components
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe and repeatable space flight
- Work directly with NASA and our National Team Partners on the Human Landing System (HLS) Sustaining Lunar Development (SLD) program
- B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering, or related technical subject area
- 3+ years of experience in fluid system design, analysis, component specification, and procurement
- Strong grasp of fluids and heat transfer fundamentals
- Experience performing sizing and heat transfer calculations for heat exchangers
- Familiarity with fluid system solvers such as sinda fluint or thermal desktop
- Experience in 3D CAD programs (Creo preferred) and Finite Element Analysis
