Job Summary

Purvis Industries is seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic and Pneumatic Fluid Power Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for growing our sales in hydraulic and pneumatic components and systems at new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with field sales personnel to develop and execute sales strategies for hydraulic and pneumatic fluid power solutions
  • Provide technical advice and assistance to customers on product selection and sizing
  • Assist with new applications, including sizing, specifying, and designing
  • Support internal engineering design teams to assist in designing and applying hydraulic and pneumatic fluid power
  • Meet with customers and/or team members to provide technical advice and assistance
  • Participate in sales efforts to close orders
  • Coordinate fluid power sales and systems with various Branches and Regional Managers
  • Identify target accounts and prospects
  • Work with the marketing team to produce marketing materials and events promoting fluid power
  • Provide advanced-level technical application support via phone, video conference, or in person
  • Stay current on new products and technologies and educate Customers and Purvis Team Members about these new developments
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Mechatronics or equivalent experience
  • Five (5) years of experience in hydraulic and pneumatic fluid power
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic fluid power, engineering principles, and creative problem solving
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Proficiencies: Microsoft Office, Teams
  • Good driving record
