About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Research and Residency Position in Radiation Oncology Physics. This is a unique opportunity to combine research and clinical training in a hybrid program that will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of radiotherapy physics.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research under the guidance of Dr. Xiang Li, Ph.D., DABR, on a project titled "Deep Learning Empowered Target Decomposition Technique for Markerless Intrafraction Motion Monitoring." You will be responsible for developing different deep-learning modules for this particular application, validating algorithms with clinical data, and preparing manuscripts for publication.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in radiotherapy physics under the guidance of Dr. Xiang Li, Ph.D., DABR
  • Develop deep-learning modules for markerless intrafraction motion monitoring
  • Validate algorithms with clinical data
  • Prepare manuscripts for publication
  • Participate in other research projects as deemed fit
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have a Doctorate in medical physics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or a similar scientific discipline. You should also have expertise in medical imaging and deep learning, as well as programming skills with Python and Matlab. A track record of peer-reviewed publications is also required.
