Position Overview:

The Department of Radiation Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) is in search of a qualified candidate for a clinician-researcher faculty role, which may be based in Manhattan or at one of our regional facilities.

This role will focus on treating one or two primary disease sites while maintaining a research emphasis.

The position entails approximately 60% clinical responsibilities at a designated MSK facility and 40% dedicated to research initiatives. Clinical duties typically require 2-3 days of service at a Memorial Sloan Kettering facility, depending on clinical needs.

In terms of research, the selected candidate is expected to spearhead and manage either clinical or translational research projects, which may include clinical trials, biospecimen studies, innovative therapy combinations, and/or health services research, including patient-reported outcomes measures.

The Department of Radiation Oncology at MSKCC serves around 12,300 patients across seven locations, supported by a faculty of 61 members. There are extensive opportunities for research collaboration. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
Must have graduated from an accredited residency program in Radiation Oncology.

Salary Information:
$350,000- $555,000

Physician compensation is determined by various factors.

This range represents the annual salary only and does not encompass supplemental performance-based compensation or any one-time payments that may be offered at the time of hire.
